ISU Summer Choral Academy Adds Workshop for Music Educators

The ISU Summer Choral Academy, Thursday-Friday, August 7-8, 2008 will feature two simultaneous tracks this year

Track 1 will again be for high school singers to prepare the upcoming All-State repertoire in a choral setting

Track 2 will be for directors, where they will be offered a variety of interest sessions within fifteen contact hours. Clinicians for both events will include Richard Bjella (2008 Iowa All-State Conductor) and James Rodde.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Professor Bjella will offer a reading of the All-State pieces to all interested music educators (no registration or fee required).
