Touchstone, with help from Houghton State Bank and private donors, presented Musica Antiqua as their final program of a series held in the homes of Red Oak. These dark photos don't do justice to Helen Murphy's beautiful home, where approximately 50 guests listened and watched from the living room, dining room, and parlor. Antiqua demonstrated a large number of instruments and varied music styles including street songs, chant, and lute songs. Members of the audience sang along on several numbers.
