Musica Antiqua Performs at Eagle Grove Renaissance
Fair
Musica Antiqua participated in this Renaissance Fair to introduce students
to the musical sounds of that era. The morning audience of 5th through
8th graders also heard a talented faculty vocal ensemble. A group of 5th
graders demonstrated how the nursery rhyme Ring Around the Rosie
was descriptive of the 14th century Black Plague.
The afternoon audience of 1st through 4th graders was treated to
a performance by a flute ensemble made up of Eagle Grove 7th and 8th graders
and their instructor, Mrs. Ambie Timmerman. |
